  • Be ready always for a test: When you have a test or short exams in your class, having notes that are precise for study are a very good technique so, you are never out of knowledge. This will slowly generate a habit in you about making a precise note for your future study as well.
  • Highlight the important facts: Whenever you are making notes, make sure you have covered all the important facts. Also, try to highlight the important facts that are necessary for your study.
  • Try to be a good listener:  Notes making can be also very effective when you have note down the facts or points that were told by your faculty or class teacher. This is because they interpret those learning topics in simpler words thus, can be used for a longer memory as when needed.
  • Use your hand for making notes: Making notes using hand other than typing or storing in any other electronic device is considered healthy and effective for a perfect notes making. As when you use your hand for creating notes you are better at understanding of the concepts thus, greater memory in the long run for a student. However, you can also do that simply by typing it in your laptop or computer device but make sure you comprehend the meaning of the sentences while making notes.

  • Use some tricks: When you are taking notes then go for some tricks such as using some abbreviations for short-term memory. Also, a student can use some examples and highlight for a better memory when recalling such sentences or phrases. It is a sequential method and one of the naturally developed skills among many students. This usually involves the use of headings and bullet points for a good remembrance thus, written straight down the sheet of a paper or a laptop.

  • The Mapping skill

It appears to be like a tree that has its branches or a sky with cloud that has arms. It begins with the main topic and then covers with its branches that constitute the major points thus, connecting with small branch or sub points. This is an artistic view of a perfect note taking by a student.

  • The Chart Method

A good learner or student is who knows what the topics are about? Make a partition and write down the main points needed to cover and then include sub points in it.
